Susan's Story
I hope that everyone remembers me for my quiet nature but also remembers that I have done all the previous class reunions with help from other local classmates. I am hoping to get another reunion for 2010 (40 YEARS)
Now about myself now. My Husband & myself have raised horses, cattle & sheep and after his retirement from the post office in Dixon we sold all the animals and went looking for property in another state. We found a beautiful area in Idaho, east of Lewiston, ID and west of Missoula, MT in a small town of Kooskia, ID which is on the Clearwater River. I tell people that where OR & WA come together on the east side, we are straight over from there. We are currently waiting to sell our home in Dixon and make our final move but with the real estate market the way it is we may have to wait a little longer. etal shop in which we have filled with all our stuff from our Dixon home. (not quite filled) We have a 33 foot fifth wheel that we stay in while we are there. He makes several trips a year to work around the place while I stay here and work at my Office Manager job in Davis. I do plan two trips a year for vacation. As soon as we sell our home, we will then build there. We have a wonderful view of the Bitteroot, Oregon & Wash and at night we can see the lights of Grangeville. Deer, pheasant and quail are in our yard all the time. Eagles fly over along with hawks. Fishing & golfing are abundant. We have two Yorkshire Terriers, Bosley & Angel and a cat that I brought home from the ranch, Itto Kitty. I do miss the horses and the riding so I may possibly get another but maybe might be more feasable to just borrow one from the neighbors. That's about it for now, but please all classmates stay in touch!
