Susan's Story
After High School, joined up w/ the Air Force and spent 8 years in. Met my husband at Eglin and then off to England. 6 years total, traveled around Europe, Ireland and of course, England.
Bill got stationed up here at KI Sawyer, and he retired in 91. Bill went on to travel around the States, with UXB.
Five and a half years later, he retired from that, and we have been living in the UP since 84.
Got 6 cats and 3 dogs, all spoilt rotten.
My stepdaughters have made me a step Grandma 6 times now. Another one on the way this month.

Haven't been back to Tampa, since 77. From what I've heard, it's changed a lot! I'd get lost trying to find places.

Sue Whitten (Turner) Aug 2011 update. This past summer, started out cold, ended up using pots for the veggies, instead of planting in the garden. Dogs have been in and out of the Vets, this past month. There doing better and now, we have one more appointment for them, and hopefully, everything will be fine. Fire from Canada, crossed the Lake, and we had hot, humid and smoke in July. It was miserable, couuldn't see 1/4 mile down the road, it was that dense. Went to Mackincaw Island on a day trip. Awesome! If you like to walk or ride a bike, that's the place to go. Went to Sault St. Marie for a trip through the Soo Locks. Great day! County Fair today, got to see the horses, cows, sheep, pigs and little fuzzy pets. Nothing like the Florida State Fair, it's still fun and we even got to watch the firemen compete with different towns. Marquette won, but everybody had fun getting wet.
