Susan's Story
School
I got married in 2004 to the boy I was going steady with while a Junior and Senior at M-A! He's Howard Scheib, who was a senior when I was in the ninth grade. We were in the M-A Band and the California Youth Symphony together.
Now we're living in Dallas, Texas (where I have lived for 40 years) and we're very busy in two community orchestras and a community band, playing cello and percussion (me), and trombone/baritone horn (him). We are also involved in...Expand for more
early music (just completed a concert of the Music of Martin Luther's World). In the early music world, I play viols and recorders. Howard plays recorders and, of course, sackbut. He also plays considerable amounts of traditional jazz and old rock 'n' roll, and is active in two local trombone choirs. I'm retired from a national newspaper for United Methodists, he's retired from the Social Security Administration and a U.S. Army Reserve Band. LIfe is good!
