Susan's Story
Since graduating from Conrad (Class of 1968), I attended Brandywine College/Widner University, majoring in Business Administration/Management with a minor in Law. I married in 1970 and became the mother of 4 beautiful children, Terry, Greg, Rich and Amy. I have two fantastic grand-children, Tyler and Kerrin and I'm looking forward to more!
I owned and operated "Family Fun and Fitness" which was a toning and tanning salon. We featured massage, body wraps, exercise programs, etc. Left that in the early 80's due to a divorce.
I also continued with my music, performing with many bands all over the country, in so many wonderful venues. Still play keyboards and guitar and was a front person for a host of top 40, funk and country bands.

topped at a light, in Newark, and pushed into a bus). I survived that but came out with back, neck, hip, foot and hand injuries. I was working as an Administrative Assistant for Christina School District, at the time, and ended up being placed on total disability as a result. So...back to the music.
Over the past few years, I have portrayed Linda McCartney in a Paul McCartney/Wings Tribute Band. I was hoping this would be my "ticket" but, unfortunately, at the beginning of August (August 6, 2009) I was diagnosed with cancer and now face an uphill battle to survive again.
I am hoping to get back to playing Linda, or working with a club band, as soon as my surgeries and treatments are behind me.
I currently live in beautiful Lochbuie, CO and enjoy hearing from past classmates and friends.
