Dear friends, Hello! How are you? I hope you are well. I guess you are wondering what happened to me. Well, I'm still here in Pittsburgh! I work at the University of Pittsburgh full-time as an Administrative Assistant for a Vice Provost. I've been in my current department for about 16 years but at the University for a total of 28 years. Now THAT is scary! My husband and I were married late at 32. We had hoped to start a family but then I found I found out I had thyroid cancer. I had some other health issues as well. It took a long time but somehow we got through it. I thank God that that those days are now behind me. I am well right now but as you know, life can change from moment to moment. Right now I live my life day by day with only slight glimpses of the past and future. I value and treasure every day as a gift from God. We have no children of our own but we do have many lovely nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. We love them as if they were our own. So what else is new?
