Susan's Story

Life I used to live at the Jersey shore, but I moved to Florida in 2015. I have one son Doug, Doug graduated from Ramapo College of NJ with his degree in Communication Arts. My husband Jim Rush, passed away. He had cancer. He was only 44. (Glen Ridge class of 1979). I have started dating again, something I didn't have to worry about for 26 years. Dating when I was a teenager was bad and dating in my 40's was just as hard. But I'm giving it my best. I am very lucky that I met Tony. It seems Tony and I have been in the same place, at the same time throughout our lives and never met. We were at the 1964 World's Fair, summer vacations in Lavallette,...Expand for more
NJ --just a few blocks away and Disney World. But now, all is well and wonderful. Update : I have grandson ! Carson James Rush was born 12/4/13 10:45 PM and his weight was 8.4 pounds and 20 1/2 inches long. He is a beautiful little boy ! UPDATE I have a beautiful granddaughter Peyton Mary born 8/11/2017 UPDATE: I no longer live at the Jersey Shore. Sold the house in Beachwood NJ and moved to Bradenton Florida since October 2015. Tony and I got engaged June 2014 and he had a stroke July 2014. Florida weather is better for him with the weather being warm and never cold and snowy like in NJ Loving the FLORIDA SUNSHINE ! UPDATE: I have a new granddaughter Emma born June 2022
