Susan's Story
About a hundred years ago, spent the late 60s working night shift and dropping in and out of UMass Boston, but eventually trapped a BA in English. Lived in Arlington, Medford and Ipswich before relocating to a town about halfway between Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA. American Lit and composition and have supervised secondary student teachers since '88. Spent some time at UMass Amherst, taking almost as much time to finish my last degree as my first. Still visit remaining relatives, Carey library, local cemeteries and familiar streets in Lexington and think warmly of it all. Retired for real now, I reflect often on the rich range of experience this era continues to offer.
