Susan's Story
Life
I have been a pre-school teacher for over 18 years, and now I am working for my dad. My mom past away on Nov. 12, 2006. Dad turned 91 this year, 2007. I have been married to Gary now for 5 years, and between us we have 5 grandchildren.
We are active in our church and look forward to helping in the new, Help/Drop in Center, for the homeless and those who need help in getting them selves back on their feet. This is dirceted by our church.
We still enjoy traveling and visiting our children, who live in, Truckee, Santa Rosa, and Belford, New Jersey. My bothers also live here in the Sonora area, so this makes it easy to keep in touch.
Dad is also keeping him self very busy working on the family tree. He is also writting articals for the Historical Society here in Tuolumne County. We are all in very good health, and looking forward to a trip to the east coast to vist family, including dad's 90 year old cousin, and my daughter this next May. This is all for now. Susan

year old. The two year old was born on my birthday. We spend a lot of time in Truckee these days. Dad has his 96th birthday next month. He still is doing quite well. He still writes a lot and is still working on our family tree. I hope to bring him to our next class reunion. I still live here in Sonora with my husband Gary, and we take care of dad, enjoy traveling, visiting our grandchildren, and we are still very active in our church. We now head up the 50+ ministry and organize trips and meals for our seniors. My daughter is now living in Frisco Texas, and I enjoyed a trip there this past year. Hot, but enjoyed the country. Taking dad to Colorado Springs, this July, for a Horseless Carriage Club of America 75yr Annv. He is being honored for being the oldest living past National President (1966). Do you remember the 1915 T Ford ? Dad had a lot of fun restoring that one. This brings my up date to a close for now. See you at the next class reunion.
