Susan's Story
After HS, married sweetheart, didn't work out, (sorry Don), earned B.S. in Economics, (couldn't get a job); worked the nightclub scene as professinal belly dancer for a few years; got married (again). Earned 2nd B.S. in Engineering, moved to Texas for Shell Oil, got unmarried (again), drilled oil wells for a living.
Married a Brit and moved to Bangkok; taught petroleum engineering at Chulalongkorn U., learned to cook Thai food,had son, moved to Sarawak, East Malaysia. Taught some belly dancing, dabbled in amateur theatrics, watched the sunsets over the South China sea,had daughter, taught child-birth education; moved to HOlland.
Interned in alternative psychotherapy, built future retirement home in NW Colorado, learned to read tarot cards, secy/treasure of the petroleum wives club (not the highlight of my life thank goodness), moved to Paris France, forever!

Hated Texas even more the second time around, husband started consulting business, convinced husband we could live full-time in Colorado, moved north in 1997. Been here ever since!
Now using twenty+ years of experience in re-inventing myself to coach people through transition. Journal writing expert;moderator of local writing group, currently President, National Federation of Biblio-Poetry Therapy; Facilitate weekly writing groups for self-discovery and creative expression, also national workshops and retreats.
Still have husband.(Third time lucky I guess!)
Working on letting go of kids - one in college studying biology, the other seeks wealthy sponsor for international auto racing career. If you can help, please let me know.
When not writing, I enjoy skiing, cooking, evenings with friends, more amature theatrics. I do not enjoy caring for two ball pythons left behind by college bound daughter. Think they will make a nice pair of boots someday....
