Susan's Story
Life
My Spouse
In high school; we first spoke after an assembly where my brother and I played music for the school during a talent contest. Phil came up to me and told me I enjoyed my music. It went on from there!
My Pets
I'm a big-time dog lover! We have 3, plus my son's hunting dog. We have a black cocker spaniel who is 14yrs old & deaf, his name is Dexter. Reba is 9yrs old, she is a Lab/Chow/Shepherd mix, solid black except for where she is graying on her muzzle, & looks mostly lab except for her black tongue & curly tail. Duke is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who weighs 136 lbs! He is 5yrs old, gorgeous, rotten, & thinks he runs the house, but Dexter is Alpha dog in our house! My son's hunting dog [my grand-dog!] also comes in the house; his name is Patch, he is a Walker/Redtick mix, & cute! He's the youngster of the bunch at 1yr old.
My Kids
At present time, they ...Expand for more
are both back at home! Debbie is 27, graduated from Wilson in 1991, lived on her own for a while, but she is back home, & we love having her here. Phillip is 24, divorced, and lives with us for the time being. He has 2 beautiful children - Dalton will be 6yrs old in May, Kailey is 2yrs old. We get to see them every other weekend, and love to spoil them rotten! [Isn't that what grandchildren are for??]
My Job
I work at the Bulletin Board, which is a buy/sell/trade newspaper in our area. I type ads that are called in by people; I also design & produce the business ads on computer; assist in assembly of the paper each week; deliver the paper in the Waynesboro/Stuarts Draft area on Wednesday; field calls, take complaints, etc, etc.! I like my job, & enjoy the responsibility & the freedom I have [not as restricted hours as some jobs, although Monday & Tuesday are rough!]
