Susan's Story
After high school, I went to National Beauty School #9 (in Irving). When I passed the board exams, I moved to my hometown of Crowell, TX, and worked there until I got allergic to all the chemicals (about 6 months). After that, I worked for ALPOA, the company that handled the parking, etc, at DFW airport when it opened. I was there for about 3 yrs, met my first husband and moved back to Crowell after we married. We were married for 14 yrs and divorced.
I met James and we married 21 yrs ago. We've had a lot of fun with all our grandki...Expand for more
ds and our Chihuahuas. We moved from Abilene, TX, back to the Metroplex in 2007, when I transferred to a different position with BCBSTX. (It definitely feels different being back in "the big city" after living for so many years in small towns in west Texas).
I have 3 children: Sean born in 1977, Sami born in 1982 and Phillip born in 1990. I also have 3 adult stepchildren: Christel, Michelle and Clifton. My husband and I have been blessed with 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Life is sooooo interesting when we're all together.
