Debra's Story
well when i got out of school i went to beauty school ,i worked as a beutitian for 3 yrs.in 1974 i married james pena some of you may remember him,we had two boys,i worked several different jobs from then until 1991,i hurt my right hand by squeeseing pliers causing a disease,called reflex sympathetic dystrophy,my first digit of my index finger litterally fell off.knowing that i would have a hard time finding a job with my hand,i went back to school and became a nurse,i worked in the medical field from 199...Expand for more
6 until 2005,i had two strokes (10 days apart)the 2nd one affected my legs,so now i am disabled.i am currently trying to lose weight to see if i can get my strenght in my legs back i have a ways to go.james and i are raising our oldest son's son,he is 6.james and i will celebrate our 35th aniversary on aug.9th,that is if one of us doesn't kill the other one off first.i want to see alot of you but not until i get my weight off and hopefully my legs woking right again,if not at least i'll have my weight off.
