Susan's Story

After graduating from Islip my then high school boyfriend and I got married and moved out to the east end of Long Island.I worked around my three children's school schedules and my husband's shifts.In 2006 my husband retired and we were able to sell our home before the housing slump and we moved down to North Carolina. We both enjoy retirement and especially no schedules...Expand for more
and we can spend time with our grandchildren.We have three in Louisiana and one still on LI. I enjoy traveling on our motorcycle and last year we did a three month trip in the Dakota's,Wyoming,Montana and then thru the mid-west states and spent a few weeks with the grandkids in Louisiana before heading home.When we are not off riding I enjoy baking,reading and quilting.
