Susan's Story
Turning 64 was quite the experience. Remember youthful expectations for this age: white hair, pastel floral dresses with black lace-up orthopedic shoes, walking with a lean Coke bottle specs and having to ask for repetition.

d Shakespeare, informing me that "err" is pronounced "uhr", not "air." Mr. Smith congratulating me on being his first-ever typing class student to turn in an entire speed test in Greek, fingers set one-key-to-the-right. Coach O'Quinn, from his chair set on his desk during exams watching the room like a rotating lighthouse lamp, my getting hiccups and giving up, raising my hand for permission to get water, him like a cartoon swinging his head to me, saying, "WHAT?" which ended the hiccups.
