Life Oh my gosh, how did we get twenty years down the road already?! I'll try to keep this short and sweet...After high school I went off to the University of Akron, living on Carroll Street, and majoring in Elementary Education, Psychology and ultimately Interior Design. It took a couple extra years to obtain my BA because I lost my dad to cancer somewhere in there. I partied my backside off as well, and made a few good choices in boyfriends as well as my share of not-so-good choices. All in all it was a time of freedom, growing up and finding myself that turned out ok. I found myself crossing the finish line at graduation on the dean's list and with an armful of friends. While at U of A, I worked at Ken Stewart's Grille on West Market Street. After graduation, I was offered and accepted an Interior Design position in Boardman, OH, but ended up declining that offer as I was proposed marriage to by my husband Tom and accepted his proposal.
