Susan's Story

Life After college I lived in LA for a few years doing research at USC School of Medicine and UCLA Marian Davies Childrens Clinic. I decided to make a life style change and ended up living in a ski resort in the Sierras for a few years. That was followed by moving to Washington State. I now work for the Seattle Mariners in government and neighborhood relations. My mom passed away earlier this year at the age of 94 and Dad passed away in 2006 at the age of 90. They lived with me the past several years in Snoqualmie, Washington. It was quite a life change for me but one that I cherish. I never married but have several nephews and a niece, plus my sisters, their husbands and their grandchildren - living ...Expand for more
in California, Alabama, Nevada and Washington. I was a planning commissioner in my town for 10 years along with a member of the Design Review Board, Landmarks Commissioner and Shoreline Review Board but gave that up last year when Mom showed signs of declining. I now spend my time when I am not working in my garden, playing with my dog Jack and cats Peanut and Punkin, and spending time in my favorite places in the Cascades (okay, they are right at my front door-I look at Mt. Si from my bedroom window), Montana, the Washington coast and other outdoor places. In the winter, when I am not shoveling snow, I like to crochet, knit, weave and read, and have been working for several years on our family history.
