Susan's Story
After graduating I attended Rutgers Univeristy and regretfully left in my sophomore year to enter the work force, what my hurry was I don't know. I married in 1969 and my husband Royce and I just celebrated our 40th anniversary. Quite a feat in this day and age. We moved to Folsom, N.J. and raised our children, Tara and Mark. Both now married. Tara lives locally and has one son, Kurt, (the love of our lives). Mark lives in Phoenix and has 3 stepsons.
While living in Folsom I actually ran for Mayor, (didn't win, a blessing). I was however elected to the Folsom School Board and served in that capacity for 13 ye...Expand for more
ars. It was very rewarding.
I did return to school and became an Ultrasound Technologist when the profession was in it's infancy and have been working in that capacity ever since. I also went back to Rutgers and completed my Bachelors Degree in psychology in 2001. Quite an odyssey -1966 to 2001 before I graduated. Just shows it's never too late.
I currently live in Estell Manor, N.J. near Mayslanding and work in a medical office in Vineland. I am stll close with a few fellow classmates, Teddi Stamp and Lois Snyder. We see each other often. Life has been good to me.
