Susan Black:  

Susan moved a lot as a child. Her schools therefore schools include Slippery Rock High School, East Lansing High School, East Lansing Junior High School, Roosevelt Elementary School, Horace Mann Elementary (Lima, Ohio). Beginning her education she attended Hendry Park and Metz Schools in Angola, Indiana. She later attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Her teaching career began in 1973 in Slippery Rock. The following year she moved to the Mercer Area School District where she retired in 2014 with 41 years in the educational system. For several years she was the Director of Summer Enrichment Decamp at SRU. She has taught private art lessons and is a member of the National Dollmakers Art Guild.
