Susan's Story
I hope you remember me as an optimistic and happy-go-lucky person. I still like to sing, and I do play guitar and piano.
I'm getting a kick out of this story wizard. The wildest thing I ever did in school? Never put it in writing!
My work life is still under construction. My strong suit is still math, as I am a financial analyst, but I also do computer applications design. I wish I had jumped to computer programming in the beginning! I'd probably be rich by now.
My heroes are the math teachers at Harding. Misters Minotti, Becker and Decker all believed in me.
I grew up in Bridgeport, lived in New Jersey during college, and moved to East Haven when I got married. Why didn't I go someplace warm!
I'd like to see all the people from my past who remember me. I'm not very good at keeping in touch. I wonder if I had a positive influence on anyone.
I have always been a tv junkie, often staying up late glued to the box. I even like infomercials! My favorite thing to watch is musicals, and Star Trek, and my fave ...Expand for more
channel is TCM. My musical taste is still eclectic, although now I tend to listen to jazz for its complexity, and alternative rock for my daughter Victoria's sake.
We lost our beloved cat Rascal in 2009. He was unique, the tough son that I never had. Our new cat has to grow into his personality, he's only six months old.
The biggest surprise in my life was that I found and married a decent man. I had to go out of town and find someone younger!
I've learned a lot about life being a parent. That I'm not perfect at anything! But trying makes all the difference. Also, I can give up a lot of silly dreams, but still maintain my identity.
My first love was Dave Boston. He is married to a beautiful Italian girl. He had a car service business, but lost it on 9/11.
My style? I'm still trying to find one. I recently lost weight, so I am ready for a makeover.
I'd never go back and change my life, it was hard enough the first time. If you go back to snip the untidy memories, the whole tapestry comes unraveled.
