Susanne's Story
I am currently retired from a long career as a computer person (programmer, analyst, project lead, data base admin, manager, etc.) My husband, Tom, and I just celebrated our happy 41st anniversary. We have 2 kids - a daugher who is a doctor and a son who is a research physicist. Our kids are both married and have blessed us with 5 wonderful grandchildren. We are currently babysitting for our newest grandson who was born last December. He will be with us until he is 6 months old and then go to a daycare center near his brother's elementary school. nt at our Academy of Learning in Retirement, a book club member and a sometime "Church Lady". I have just been admitted to membership in the Daughter's of the American Revolution and have also joined the local chapter of the American Association of University Women. Tom is into school Robotics programs for kids, Ham radio and wood working. tom is also active in an IEEE society for retired engineers and their various activities around town. We enjoy travelling and have most recently been to India.. We are also exploring the San Antonio and Hill Country area - recently revisiting the wonderful San Antonio Missions.
