Suzanne's Story
Life
Moved to Fl. in 97, moved to Key West lived there for a few months (great place to visit but you would not want to live there, great fishing). After Key West moved 6 Hr's North to Sebastian Fl, This is were I currently live (ocean side of the state). Went to the Police Academy here in 1997 and became a deputy sheriff for the Indian River County Sheriff's Dept. Did road patrol for several yr's (loved it!!) Met my husband (he was my FTO Field training officer). Left the Sheriff's Dept. when I had my daugther Kelly. Been married for 7 1/2 yrs. Was a stay home mom for a while (boring, but good for my daugther), now that she's started school last yr. I went back to work,changed professions, and became a teachers assistant for 1st grade. It's a great rewarding job, much more so than being a cop. Even though I miss law enforcement ( the excitment, taking people to jail, zapping people w/ my tazer, etc...Expand for more
.) I much rather be home for my daugther. I own a 4/2 home in a gated community. Survived all 3 hurricans last yr. I'm a hurrican expert now. Living in Fl. is o.k. The only good thing about living here is being close to the theme parks ( I live about 1 1/2 hrs away). Been to Disney World maybe 6 times in the last 2 yrs. I'm a Magic Kingdom expert. My parents live here too & they love it. It's Africa HOT in the summer, & not cold enought on Xams. Miss pumkin picking, & the seasons changing. My husband has never been to NY, looking forward to taking him there. He was born & raised in Florida. Met 1 old buddy on classmates, Alisa Guido. It's great keeping in contact w/ her. Hav'ent seen her in in many yr's. Still very close w/ my girlfriend Lauren, she has 2 kids & just moved to Smithtown. Maybe I will meet more old friends on the Net. Hope to talk to some of you soon.
