In high school, I was quiet and shy. Had few friends or boyfriends. I began high school at Plantation High while South was being built. My first crush in high school was on Kevin Duffany. He lived down the street from my house in Melrose, and I could always hear him playing his electric guitar all the way to my house. He recently (2002) has deceased. Next was Gary Brown. We actually were officially boyfriend and girlfriend, and that lasted nearly 9 months, which was pretty good back then. That lasted until I looked out my window and saw him holding hands with a beautiful blonde visiting a relative down the street. Way to go, Gary! Than, came my later to be husband, Ron Strang.
