Suzanne's Story
Hi to all who might remember me........ Hope you all have had a good and healthy life thus far..........
How do you sum up a life time in a few words? Well, here is a mini review........................I've moved around a bit through the years --
I came to Lyman in 1971 and graduated in 1973,
I was on the Yearbook Committee - Glee Club. Hung out with - Lisa Allen - Mary Chabot - Greg Bailey - Lee Rigling - (actual went out with Lee during my senior year - great guy) to name a few. Was friends with Ron Harnett and that group too. Hope this helps jog a memory for remembering who I am,
I was married in April of 1974 to Sam Chabot (Mary Chabot"s brother). He was in the Air Force, so after the wedding I moved to Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. We had 2 wonderful sons. They are now 38 & 35 - each have 1 child. The oldest son has a 17 year old boy and the youngest son has a 2 year old girl. Both are wonderful!. One son was born in Niceville, Florida at the AF Base and the 2nd one in Colorado Springs, Colorado - this is where we moved to next. Then we moved to Canada, where I'm from. We stayed here for 8 years, then moved back to Florida. Liv...Expand for more
ed in Deltona, Fl. for 8 years. Got divorced after 22 years, then moved back here to Canada. I have been here now since April 1996.
I am currently a supervisor at a Casino Resort Hotel.
Life has been a challenge at times. In 2001 I was diagnosed with MS. Could be worse - doing well considering.
I purchased my own little "Shack" in 2007. I enjoy decorating it and puttering around in my yard.
When I lived in Florida, I missed the 4 seasons -- now I wonder what was the matter with me then -- Snow and cold have a way of making you see things differently - especially in your old age -- Ha - I dream of the sun washed beaches of my teens...............
Hope some of you remember me. I used to drive a 1966 red Mustang convertible with a black roof. Made a lot of trips to the beach in that little classic.....My time at Lyman High were some of the best of my life - I had a ball there and hanging out with all the gang back then. Oh where did all the years go? They sure went by too darn fast, that's what....................
Well take care and all the best
hope to hear from whoever remembers me
