Suzanne's Story
Life
Aloha - I graduated from Washington State Nursing School (ICNE) in 1979. Spokane was too.. cold, so after college moved to Seattle and worked at UW hospital as an RN for 12 years specializing in Oncology (cancer)nursing. My job is very satisfying, I continue to learn alot and I have been honored and blessed by getting to know my patients/families and caring for them. I currently am the Cancer Center Coordinator at our Women's and Childrens hospital in Honolulu where I have lived for the past 13 years.
Taylor, my only 12 year old son has been my biggest accomplishment and pride and joy (most of the time)! It is those pre-puberty years and Mom can do nothing right- esp. singing and dancing wher...Expand for more

I just finished renovating my new condo here, where I am lucky enough to walk to work and Taylor home from school- My pet peeve is "traffic"!
For fun I enjoy traveling and skiing in the winter. My son and I try to do weekly hikes and play tennis - for relaxation it is "beach time" with a good book. I also keep busy and volunteer for many cancer foundations and my oncology nursing organization.
I am very lucky to live Hawaii but I do miss my Tacoma family, the seasons and Northwest - camping, biking and hiking just are not the same!
I look forward to travels in the future to New Zealand and Australia and to seeing everyone in August 2005! LOVE & ALOHA
