When I attended GCHS, 1961-65, I was a member of the gym leaders, you know the girls wearing white-skirted tops and white blommers. We assisted the gym teacher in class, helping students with their exercixes or act as umpire in team games. I took three gym classes a day and joined the after school sport clubs - volleyball, basketball, etc. yet I was not a jock. I so admired my sec. studies teacher that I went to CCNY - B. Baruch school of business. After one year I knew it was the wrong field so I quit college. In November I worked part-time evenings and weekends at Macy's. After quitting school I worked full-time for the N.Y. Phone Company. Six months later my supervisor found I was working P/T at Macy's and although my work performance never suffered, she made my life a living hell, so I quit and worked at Union Carbide - still at Macy's. Two years lter I was hired in the Women's shoe buyers office as secy to the V.P. Marketing and Merchasing. After two years I moved with my mother to Colorado.
