I finally figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up! I am now in my second year of teaching...second graders! I know, I'm kind of old (although 40 is the new 20, right?) to be starting a new career, but now that our kids are grown and almost out of the house, I decided it was time to get my butt off the couch and start contributing more to society. few, young minds. I love it! I especially like second graders because they are still so happy to see their teacher in the morning and still like to go to school. I remember my second grade teacher, Mrs. Stephenson from Ocotillo, what a grouch! I try not to be too grouchy and I would never be like she was. I don't think I ever remember her smiling...not even once! Anyway, that's what's up in the workplace.
