Here goes a short story of what I have been up to for the past 50 years. I have a total of five wonderful children - three sons of my own and a son and daughter from my marriage to John. We have five grandchildren ranging in age from 3 to 22. We moved to Winchester, Virginia not quite two years ago. John's company, Miller and Smith, a home builder has a number of properties in Winchester so they transferred John. He had been commuting for three years from Fairfax Station. We moved from 5 acres to an in-town home and love not having all the work. Work wise I have had a really interesting career. I became a real estate agent in 1972 and worked in commercial real estate for almost 20 years. In the early 90's I was a senior asset manager for the Resolution Trust Corporation. In 1993 I became the public relations/marketing manager/public spokesperson for the first private toll road in the US in over 100 years, the Dulles Greenway. In fact, I named the road. I worked for General Charles Williams in this position. After that I followed General Williams to the DC Public Schools andbecame the Policy Manager him in his position as Facility Director for DC Public Schools.
