Suzanne's Story
Life
Hey everyone!!! Since I have graduated in 1998 I have been here and there, I still live at the same adress, it's just a matter of time till I can put the house in my name. I have bounced around a little from job to job, I am currently working for the Burton City offices and I am also serving with the U.S. Army Reserves. I DO NOT have any kids, unless you consider my pets (which I do, they really are like kids). I also am not married, the guy that I have been dating, for over 3 years, and I have talked about it but we are both in the Army and you never know what is going to happen. I still dream about moving back to CA. but my life belongs to the government for the next 7 years and maybe more. I am currently going to college and I have changed my Major a few times (there is to much that I want to do.) But I have decided on opening my own business, I'll let you know when I do. I guess that is about all for now. have a good one ; ) !!!
Military
I signed with the Army March 10th 2004, without telling anyone. I did what is called the DEP Delayed Entry Program. I left September 1st and I was on my way to FORT LEONARD WOOD, MO or as I quickly learned to know it as "Ft. Lost in the Woods, Misery". They don't...Expand for more
call it that for nothing either. it was a large post with NOTHING on it and I was stuck there for just over 3 months. My first week of Basic was nerve racking and scary but then it became a get experiance that I will never give back, after graduation from basic in Nov. I was then "shipped down range" (for me it was about 4 streets over) to do A.I.T. (Advanced Individual Training) here I spent just under a month learning to drive "heavy vehicals" I drove trucks, and that is what I do currently, the truck I drive is called a M-915 we currently have A-1's but they are over seas with half my uint and when they return home we will have new trucks, the A-3 M-915(Ican't wait those are NICE trucks) the 9-15's are a 22 wheeled, flat bed, cargo truck. For those of you that remember me from High school, yes I am still small (125lbs 5'7")so you can imagine when I climb in and out of my truck lol. I enjoy the Army and I am currently juggeling the idea of Warrant Officer school, where I will then fly Black Hawks, or Sniper school. I think both will be hard but rewarding. Who knows maybe I will get some balls and do both, ya never know. But for now I am just waitting for promotion more training and the to soon deployment.
