Life
I put my career on pause 6 years ago when my daughter, Zofia Rose, was adopted from Kazakhstan (formerly a state in the USSR) in November 2000. She's the best!! Being a mom beats interviewing rock stars any day. Now that Zofia has started kindergarten, I'm writing again -- freelance. It is the same sort of stuff I was doing -- reporting and writing about the concert business. I take assignments from a concert venue trade publication that was a spin-off from Billboard. I also write for LiveDaily.com, a Ticketmaster company. LiveDaily is fun because I get to write about artists and keep my finger slightly on the pulse of new music. he timing is finally right to leave Fresno. I bought a house in Maui in November '05. I had bought a house across the street from Wawona. Talk about a daily flashback. We're going to try and keep the Fresno house when we head to Hawaii since the family farming / vineyard business remains in the Valley.
