Suzanne's Story
I went to Elizabeth Seton Academy, then Bronx High School of Science, then Barnard College. Since elementary school, I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. When I was graduating from college, my parents thought that was a bad idea because they had been teachers and they felt things had changed. eave. I went back for my teacher's license and have been teaching 4th grade in Orange, NJ. As it turns out, my parents were very wrong.. . I absolutely love it!
I met my husband,John, the 1 year I worked in advertising. We got married in 1981. We moved to Dallas for 4 years during which our daughter, Jenn, was born. We then moved to NJ where we had our son, Dan, who is now 18 and a freshman in college. Jenn is now almost 25 and working at the Charleston Aquarium in SC. We have 2 dogs, a golden retriever and a crazy (but loveable) golden doodle.
