Suzanne's Story
Life
1979: After graduation, for lack of anything else to do, I moved to Reno to go to UNR.
1984: Graduated with a BS in Accounting, and went to work for First Interstate Bank (now known as Wells Fargo).
1991: Still with First Interstate, I transferred to Las Vegas. That town sure is hot!!! Kind of like living in a blow-dryer.
1992: Got engaged.
1993: Broke off engagement (finally wised up to the fact he was an alcoholic), and moved back to Reno to work for Washoe Medical Center. Somehow I knew when I moved to Las Vegas, I wouldn't last more than 2 years. Did I mention that it's...Expand for more
hot there?? Also bought my first house.
2006: After 13 years of working at the same place and living in the same house, I was in desparate need of a change. So, I moved back to the Philadelphia suburbs to be closer to my Dad. Bought a house in Chesterbrook, and am now working for UnitedHealth Group.
2009: Well, I'm back in Reno. I really enjoyed my time back east, but it's so nice to come back to my true home. I worked out a sweet deal with UnitedHealth. I now telecommute from home. It's so nice not to have that 2 1/2 hour commute every day! Looking forward to our 30th reunion.
