Suzanne's Story
After graduating from CSU, Chico with a degree in Business Admin., I worked for 12 years at Birkenstock in Novato. Met Gerry Blue at a Grateful Dead concert in Berkeley and married 8 months later on Valentine's Day 1987. Moved from Marin to Rohnert Park in 1990. Son, Andy, born in 1991. Stopped working in 1997 to become a stay-at-home mom and school volunteer.
Currently, I'm involved with the Band Wagon and Project Graduation at Analy H.S. in Sebastopol. I enjoy reading (especially novels and biographies), traveling, going to my son's band concerts, seeing movies and plays, and socializing with friends. I love shopping for antiques. I hope to some day take up the flute again.

My parents live nearby, and I spend lots of time with them, especially going to classical music concerts. Our beloved yellow lab, Casey, passed away in 2005. She was nearly 15. We are now guardians of Sophie, a 2 year old golden retriever who is our very spoiled, 60 pound lap dog.
My favorite teacher at Redwood was Marilee Ruta. I took her Art History class as a senior which began my life-long love of art. I went on to take classes in college to receive a minor in Art History. I have been to countless art museums in my travels. Once our son leaves the nest, I hope to take art classes again.
I miss my high school friends. I get a kick out of reading my old diary (which I wrote in daily from 1972-1978) to reminisce about the good ol' days.
