Life
OK, let's keep this simple. I live in Bellingham, WA with my husband Jim and our 2 year old Lilly. Bellingham is known as the City of Subdued Excitement, and we try to live up to the that. I'm a stay-at-home mom/student - yup, pretty subdued - but at the same time - exciting. I did get to go to the Iditarod in 2004, so that was exciting.
No new chopper in my life - nor leathers. At first, I thought it meant helicopter - and I'm thinking, "How many people that I went to school with have HELICOPTERS??? Because now I'm a huge FAILURE since I don't own a HELICOPTER?" I was really thinking that I have no use for a helicopter anyway, and would rather do something else with my hard-earned helicopter money, but then I realized that they didn't mean helicopter at all - and good thing, because I didn't have eno...Expand for more
ugh for a helicopter anyway. Still a freak after all these years. As far as a "brand new chopper" - um, no. I did ride from RI - Maine - Oklahoma on the back of one once. My "chopper" claim-to-fame story.
You know what? This is my life - I love my family. I LIVE for the library, the park, the ocean and traveling (which I don't get to do much anymore). I don't watch TV, I do listen to NPR. I am disappointed that G.W. Bush was elected for a 2nd term. I am pro-tree, anti-outsourcing. I do not wear tie-dye. I do wear NAOT. The best book that I can recommend is "Last Child in the Woods: Saving our Children from Nature Deficit Disorder" by Richard Louv (heard him talk a couple nights ago - WOW). I want to be a teacher when I grow up. I would like to know what John Duggan is up to these days. The End.
