Suzanne's Story
Life
I am currently living in Central Florida with my youngest son, Chris. Fortunately, I live close to my oldest son, his wife and my Dad. My mother passed away two years ago here in Florida. I have one grandchild that lives in California that I get to see only a few times a year. She is the daughter of my middle son and his wife and the apple of old Grandma's eye! :-)
Life has been good to me and I am thankful to have had good health and a great support system from my family. My Christian upbringing has seen me through some hard times; however, I came through stronger and with an improved sense of self. I have been single for several years and enjoy that status.

Hygiene, but after working and teaching in that field for 30 years I found home health a welcomed change. My favorite hobby is my 250 gal. reef tank, it is a great way to de-stress after a day at work. My pet eel is one of many creatures that live in/on the reef.
The "good old days" at Durrett seem so far away sometimes, and yet in a way it only seems that yesterday we were going to ball games and rooting for the old "blue and gold". Living in Louisville is something I do miss. The seasons change in Florida can't compare to that in Kentucky.
As of yet, I have not attended any class reunions. I just happened to stumple onto this website and started looking through the names of classmates, many whom I remember. I am not looking for anyone or anything especially, just enjoying reconnecting with those of you who call Durrett High School their high school Alma Mater.
