Patricia's Story
Hi Classmates,
My life: Married since Nov 1983 to Mike who is originally from Central Islip, Long Island. (No children.)
We are now both retired, he from a few departments, lastly Tax & Finance and me after 33 years with NYS Dept of Health retired in 2009. Health and Happiness meters WAY UP since retiring!
I obtained a MA in Pastoral Studies at St. Bernards School of Theology and Ministry in May, 2012. I worked part time over the internet for a company in Colorado software testing, from 2011 - 2014.
I love travel but rarely do - lifelong though I've managed to get to Mexico, Greece, Italy, Israel, and Ireland. I've been to almost every contiguous US state, except about 5 in the middle of the northern tier, which would be a great tou...Expand for more
r one of the next few summers.
We plan on staying in the Northeast close to my Mom, 3 brothers and 5 sisters, 16 nieces and nephews, and up to 16 great nieces and nephews now and counting! We are building a retirement home in the Halfmoon area in a maintained neighborhood and after the winter of 2014-2015 hope to go someplace warmer for a few month next year.
Amazingly, the Lunch Bunch has stayed together these many years under the leadership of Gladys Dziezic who is now not well, living in a nursing home on Cape Cod. Four of the five remaining Lunch Bunch members get together once a month since 3 of 4 are retired. Dan Bridge, Anne (Baldasaro) Gongoleski, Lisa (Burns) VIllani and still a member but living in the Boston area, Pam Born.
