Sydney's Story
Oh where to begin... I moved to Concord (East Bay) my Junior year in HS. Had less than two weeks to say goodbye and uproot my entire existence. So to those of you I didn't get a chance to say good-bye too, believe me it was nothing personal. Played hoop and volleyball the rest of high school, got a full-ride to Sac State for ball. Played 99-04, went through 3 head coaches plus back and knee surgery. Started coaching high school after I got my bachelors in business. Moved to San Jose for 3 years, taught and coached for a school in the Santa Cruz Mountains (this community will forever be family to me). Moved to Costa Rica for a brief time where I taught kindergarten. Moved back to Sacramento and became asst. coach for Sierra College for two years. Also started working for the Admin & Rec office (present). Currently live in Rocklin, still working in A&R and started a girls basketball AAU progr...Expand for more
am called College Bound. I have two teams (7th and 8th) currently and looking to expand in the future. I live with my gf, her daughter and we have a 7 yr old foster son together. So life is BUSY but I can't really complain. I keep in touch with my friends from college, have been all over the US for ball (including Hawaii and the Bahamas) which I would have otherwise not gotten the chance to experience, and my family is now is Texas and Va so I visit as much as possible. There are many more places I'd love to see in the world, but with my newfound famiily, that'll need to be put on hold for a while... unless I win the lotto! :) I'm sure there's more, my life could fill a book, but this is the just of where I've been since leaving Vville.
I'm at a point in my life where I'm having a huge urge to reconnect with people from my past and rekindle some memories, so... here I am. We'll see what happens
