Sylvia's Story
Life
I dropped out of school to marry Verne. We had a rocky and crazy 10 years until I divorced him. We had 3 kids and then in 78' he was killed in a motorcycle accident. I had a few relationships throught the years that didn't work out. I met a man and a year later we had a kid and 3 years later he died. I got my high school diploma, and started taking care of the elderly. I got married in 1986 and I now work for a hand...Expand for more
icapped school and I dearly love the kids. Not only do I work as a teacher's aide, I also do Health aide which deals with tube and pump feeding. We just bought a house in 03 and now, in 06, my husband of 20 years has decided he wants a divorce. So, I'm on my way out one door and opening another. So, before divorce gets started, he has a stroke. He had nowhere to go so I am now his caregiver, as he is partially paralyzed.
