Chuck's Story
Life
After high school I attended Graceland College in Iowa and graduated with a degree in math and math education. There I met my wife to whom I have been married since 1974. We have three children and three grandchildren (one boy and two girls). After teaching math for a year in Eagleville, Missouri (population 288; saaa-lute!), I eventually joined Ohio Bell which became part of Ameritech and was with them for nearly 15 years as a computer programmer and a trunking manager until I was "downsized" in 1992. manufacturing company in a marketing position, having gotten my MBA in marketing in 1997. My wife and I love to travel and have been to Great Britain several times. The last time was in summer, 2000 when I drove 2800 miles around the country in two weeks. Now that we are empty nesters, we look forward to more traveling around the country and world. I am also very involved with my church and in fact was a local pastor for two years. With friends and family still in Michigan, we still try to make it back to the area two or three times a year.
