Sylvia's Story
Hello, I've been through a lot since I last wrote, I lost my husband in January 30, 2013 and I'm trying to pull myself together since then. I cared for him for six years through his Dementia and made his life as memorable as possible. We had a good life and lots to be happy about, Many miles traveled in RV's and camping in many different states, we attended many ship reunions in many states. I am now settled nto a nice home in the small city of Hemet Ca. where it gets about 113 in the heat of summer, and mild in the winters, but love it here and don't plan on leaving here till the time comes. Lots of things to do yet so not planning on going any where soon. I'm comfortable and enjoying life the best I can. hort trip to San Diego and go visit Jim and take him flowers and hanging out with friends we made in La Mesa, Ca. If any of you pass thrugh this way, drop me a line and we can connect. Planning on going to the Huckleberry festival this next month. Always things to do. I still drive all over so don't sit around much, life is too short to be sad so make the most of each day. My five children are all scattered through out our great country, but do see them accationally. Being from a truck driving family the boys all drive in different states, but find time to come and see me. I take a lot of side trips so they know they better forwarn me if there coming my way.
