Sylvia's Story

I graduated in 1981. I went to college for 2 years. I got my first job as a stated employee. I transfered to working at the Health Department on Gregg Street. I got married in 1985 to my very best friend Joel Williams who graduated from Spring Valley in 1977. I got real sick in 1989. I had a brain anyursum. I am still disabled. My brain still works but much slower. We could not have any children but we did adopt a sweet little girl. She is now 25 years old and lives in Florida. We live in North Carolina. We have 3 sweet dogs, 6 cute ducks and about 12 chickens. We love our life. Me and Joel have been married for 30 years. I am a very happy person. We are loving life here in NC.
