T.I.'s Story
Life
Took me awhile to grow and mature; would like to have had better interaction with classmates and not thought sports was everything. Sports pretty much ended after high school, except KA intramural football ( school champions for 3 yrs ). GO CRIMSON and GOLD !!!!!
Could have studied more in college; had three roommates, all were Phi Beta Kappa, and no good study habits wore off on me! Dr. Carpenter, where were you? lol
Graduated in 1983 and spent a month in Kodiak, Alaska with Watty Strickland and his family. Had a great time catching halibut and King Crab and visiting the family. Sorry to say that Watty's father passed a month after I left. Mr. Charles had a big influence on me.
I returned to Summerton to work with my father at the Gas Company; rather hard to do- not showing enough initiative or trying to run everything! We sold the Gas Company in Dec 1998 to a national company. I worked for them full time until Nov 2002 and now am employed part time in IT. I travel at their behest setting up computer networks and training office staff on industry specific software.

Harley in 1998 and have traveled cross country four times with the Harley Owner's Group. been from Mexico ( South Padre ) to Canada up Highway 83; been from San Diego to Savannah; been from Chicago to LA on Rt 66 ( cut short when I fell 35' off a cliff in New Mexico and severed my left Achilles tendon, repaired Dec 2001 ); been from St Louis to Portland,OR along the Lewis and Clark Trail. Currently have approximately 40,000 miles under my belt.
It is a beautiful country. If you get the chance, check it out!
School
Enjoyed high school but would love to go back and change my attitude. Matured since those days and realize I could've had more fun by not being a jerk!
College
Enjoyed being at USC. Pledged Kappa Alpha andd made many good friends. Up there with Carl McClary, Timmy Polin, Ricky
Carpenter and Marlaine Polin. I stayed in 311 Moore in the honeycombs in a corner room for 3 years.
Double majored in Finance and Accounting in 4.5 yrs. As usual I did just enough to get by; did not even attend graduation either time. Even had to pay $25 for the second diploma!! GO BIRDS !!!!!
