Tamara's Story
Life
Born 11/12/1976 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Parents divorced in 1980 and Mom moved to Nashville, TN area and took me with her. Dad passed away about six months later. I went to school north of Nashville, finishing high school just over the state line in Kentucky. I started college at Rose Hulman in Indiana in 1995, found out the hard way that I'm not an engineer and returned home to go to a local state university for a year before giving up on it all together. I've since moved to Memphis, married in Las Vegas, transfered jobs to Northern California, was laid off, and divorced. I'm currently still living in Northern California, working toward an Oracle DBA certification by the end of the year and starting my new job the first of July. My hobbies now are reading sci-fi novels, building large lego sets (star wars collector items), playing City of Heroes (online superhero game), going to the movies, and my certification studies. I am currently living with my boyfriend of two plus years and very happy about how things are going. My future goals are to advance in my current job and complete that certification, buy a house and start a family. Beyond that, its just a day at a time.

Workplace
Couple of temp jobs, signed on at Expanets, now laid off as part of their being absorbed into the evil empire, I mean...Avaya. Now working a contract job for a data security company. Good hours, good pay, no complaints. =)
