Tamara's Story
I'm married and living in Ct. I have 2 children, Chiara who is 34 and is an Information Architect and lives in San Francisco, and Tim who is 31 and is a Social Worker living in CT. Tim has 3 children, and lucky for Grandma, they live only 20 minutes away. I was married in 1971 to Art Berlingo, and we lived in MD, VA, CT. CO and then back to CT. He was an MIS director for his company. In 1990 he drowned in a boating accident in Saranac Lake, NY. Our son Tim was only 14 and with his dad when he died. that time, and I went back to school and earned a BA in Economics followed by a paralegal certification. I worked in the trusts and estates area of law. I remarried in 1999 to Burt Sturner, who is an aero engineer. We are still living in my house in CT. I have 6 cats - due to the fact that I used to volunteer for a local animal rescue agency. I am a member of PEO an organization that helps women further their education. I am retired now, and I enjoy traveling, reading, biking. quilting, knitting, classic movies, museums and kicking back.
