Tammy's Story

I've been on a long journey from 1980 to today. It wasn't always a pleasant journey, but I've grown and am hopefully a better person today for it all. I lost my Dad in 1989 to cancer. My Mom still lives here in Wichita, as does one of my brothers and his family. My oldest brother lives in the Dallas area with his brood, who are all grown up with children of their own. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science from Tabor College's Christian Ministry Program in 2002. I was a late bloomer! I met my husband in 2003 at my home church when...Expand for more
he came to be our associate pastor and youth pastor. He's a southern boy from Louisiana. His southern charm got me! We married on April 9, 2005. He was voted in January to be our senior pastor, so I suppose we will be in Wichita for some time to come. That makes my mom real happy! I work for a law firm here in Wichita right now, but I would like to eventually be in a field that is more service-minded - the medical field or perhaps family counseling. We'll see where God leads. He hasn't left me bored yet! Hope to see you all in 2010!
