Tamara's Story

Life Gosh, where do I start? Well, I am married and have 3 fantastic children. When my husband and I met, we each had a child from our previous relationships - - and since then, the "Yours, Mine & Ours" clan has been completed. We had our youngest child in late '03. We have a nice age difference between our children and I wouldn't change it for the world. My eldest is 16, the other two are 10 and 3. That's right, a built in baby-sitter - - wooooohaaaaa :):) I have been out of the workplace for about 5 years now and am blessed to be an at home mom. Previously, I spent 8 years as a Recruiter for several staffing organizations. Oprah is right, you know, being a mother IS the hardest job in the world, but my gosh are the rewards sweet. I spent many years chasing fulfillment, but found it when I had children... My husband is a Vice President/Technology Manager over several Engineering groups at Wells Fargo Bank. He is the nicest man you could ever know and because of this, is well respected in his field as well as among his peers and employees. We love hosting BBQ's and Poker parties for his work "buddies" :) I currently reside in Arizona - born and raised, with the exception of a few years in California. I have traveled many, many places but have always felt blessed to call Arizona home. I've been as far Northeast as Cape Cod, Massachusets. My sister and I drove accross country to work at a 5 star/5 diamond resort there one summer. I lived in the Southeast - North Miami, Florida for a little while and I even spent 2 1/2 months one summer with my parents, bicycling North on Highway 1 from Southern Califor...Expand for more
nia all the way up into Seattle. We then took a ferry accross to Victoria, British Columbia and stayed at a Bed & Breakfast for a few weeks while we toured the island each day. If you've never been to Victoria Canada, I suggest you put it on a "Must See Vacation List". Probably one of the most romantic places I've ever traveled. This trip was by far the greatest memory of my life. (Having each of my children were the two greatest moments:) With all of the country I have traveled, I am happy to be at home here. My parents and grandparents live in Arizona as well. My sister, Torie moved off to Colorado Springs a few years ago. She's always love the cold - - it's not for me. I found that out when I moved to Utah with my first husband. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I gladly moved back... I have so many communities listed, but we sure moved around a bit. I would love to hear from my many friends along the way. My hope is that life has been good to all of those who shared moments in my life. My prayer is that it continues to do so. I spent many hours on the computer searching for one of my closest friends from my childhood. Through search after search, and finally a Google search for her parents names I finally found her mother. Sadly though, the return email read "I'm sorry to have to tell you, but (she) died in 1990". Her name was MaryGrace - - and my heart aches so much for the time I could have spent keeping in touch with her. My wish for everyone searching to connect with impressionable people from your pasts is that you find them, and they are well. God Bless to you and warmest of wishes, Tamara
