Tammy's Story
Life
My husband and I will celebrate our 30th wedding aniiversay this November we live in Connersville, Indiana. We have been blessed with 5 children ages: 27, 25, 10, 10, 6. Our oldest son and his wife have 2 children, which makes us grandparents. We enjoy playing golf and spending time with our wonderful family.
After being out of school for 27 years I finally got up the nerve and returned to school to pursue a career in nursing. I graduated on May 8, 2010 with honors and was awarded the Dean's Award at graduation. I am getting ready to begin the bachelor's program this fall. I feel like my life is more exciting now than ever. I could never do this without the support...Expand for more

Workplace
Worked in banking and credit union for several years. Worked part-time as an Office Administrator for 10 years, had twins in '98 became stay at home Mom. Received my license as a Mortgage loan originator worked for about a year and decided that was not for me! Liked helping people buy homes but always traded commission for a better rate for them and therefore not very profitable! I am presently working at the Sheehan Cancer Center at Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville, IN. I am a Oncology and Hematology nurse and I love it!! I will travel to Indiananpolis the month of September to become educated as a Certified Oncology nurse.
