Tami's Story
Life
After graduating I moved to Arizona (the Phoenix area) in 1992. I worked for the past 7 years at The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. It was the best job I've ever had & it was so much fun working there - I hated leaving. I got to drive race cars, meet a few famous people, rub elbows with race car drivers & personally know Bob Bondurant. We had 2 children during our time in Arizona, a boy & a girl. 00 I earned my black belt! We moved back to Iowa in July 2005 so we could raise our kids around family. We have since bought a house in Ankeny & opened up our own karate school. I teach the Cardio Kickboxing classes, which I have taught in AZ since 1997, and Jeff teaches the karate and some of the kickboxing classes. We're happy to be back in Iowa but I miss Arizona TERRIBLY! If you're ever in the Ankeny area, stop by our studio or check it out on the website at mydojos.com.
