Tami's Story
Life:
Married 28 years to same guy- can't believe he's put up with me this long, two kids (one of each), in school and learning yet another language...
Got a useless degree in Anthropology at UM in '81 and couldn't get a fellowship so I went back to school (EMU) and became a nurse in '86. Got cheesed I couldn't make any money and got a masters in nursing in '11.
Over the years I've been in critical care, pulmonary, immunology, trauma, high risk OB, hospice and teaching.
Now I'm looking for a doctoral program. It's hell.
Hubby is a computer geek; the go-to guy at work, daughter is 22 and at School of the Art Institute in Chicago and son is 17 and king of the lunchroom traders.

deal with us. Recently son went to Alaska, daughter came back from a year as an exchange student in New Zealand, I was in London, ONT & Chicago and hubby went to Denver and Washington DC. We all went to Tennessee, Nantucket, Boston and Newfoundland this year and I moved to Nantucket MA for a couple years to work. The money is too crazy to turn down..
I'm in Nantucket as an OB nurse delivering babies, hubby is holding down the fort in Ann Arbor. We'd enjoy camping, boating, swimming in the sea, bike riding, movies, cider mills, Zingerman's, choir, festivals and all the culture on offer if we had any spare time. Last few people I saw on stage: David Sedaris, Marianne Faithfull and Victor Garber.
