Tamie's Story
Life
3 children. David, age 27, is married, to wife Pearl, and had my first grandson, Elijah. He owns his own tattoo shop in Richmond. Amanda, age 24, living on her own, works for an alarm company and taking some college classes. They are from my husband's first marriage but we have had custody since 1986. I love them so much and am blessed to have had them in my life. Gregory, age 15 is in 9th grade in a specialty program high school for PreEngineering.
We also took care of my husband's brother and sister when his mom died in 1991. They were 15 and 13. They are now 32 and 30. Andrea, is the oldest and is married with 3 children. Eric is in a relationship with someone and she has a a4 month old son that adores Eric.
I met my husband, Glenn, while still working at McDonald's during Nursing School. We started dating in November 1983. We married in October 1985. Glenn owns a home improvement company, SunRoom Solutions in Chesterfield Virginia.
We have 2 pets, a dog and a bird. Our dog's name is Shadow. She is 4 years old and is black and brindle colored. She is quite the devoted pet. She is a lover and a great watch dog. Our bird is a Sun Conure. It is very colorful.
