Tammie's Story
Hey
I found knowing lots of answers to trivial questions doesn't get you diddly on the Eastern Shore.
I may be a hermit in many respects, but I don't let grass grow under my feet. (All over the house and garage, yes...)
I always wanted to be a lawyer but that wasn't in my cards. I sit in a cube and work on reports for a chicken company. Guess mom was right, I didn't have the A type personality needed to be a lawyer.
There a few people from our class I admire, even tho I only know of their life from the class reunions. I admire David. He is who he is.
I worked in Allentown, PA for a few months. At an oil pipe...Expand for more
line company. Worked in their data center. A BIG glass room where all the computers were housed. No one else but me and the computers. It drove me nuttier than I was. Then they said I had to go to oil fire fighting school. I can't breathe as it was, and they wanted me to eat smoke? All employees had to have that training. That is when I hit the road and came running back to Pocomoke.
If I had 1 do-over, I would have dropped out of high school and traveled somewhere. ANYWHERE. My degrees have really done nothing here. The fear factor of the big unknown only increases with age. I like indoor plumbing too much now!
